"I thought the performance at The Rose Theater was great. I hope you perform there again. Mom really liked it too. I loved the arrangement of "Man Gave Names to All the Animals". You guys achieved the "fun" quality I think Dylan wanted but couldn't deliver himself. Also enjoyed the Rambler Kids. What a great way to keep families close..." from Sam K. Akron, Ohio
"... We will want you back soon for more wholesome entertainment..." from Richard B., manager of the Rose Theater, Medina, Ohio |

The Brick Road Ramblers presented an evening of old-time entertainment with great tunes and country dancing at the Rose Theater, located at 139 West Liberty St., just off the square in Medina, Ohio.
The combination of rich vocal harmonies, fast picking, and good humor created a memorable experience for lovers of toe-tapping music with an old-time flavor. Featuring banjo, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and stand-up bass, the Ramblers brought to the stage the warmth and joy that made Oh Brother, Where Art Thou such an international success, performing such classics as Dooley, Man of Constant Sorrow, I'll Fly Away, and many others.
We were joined by the Sunshine Cloggers, who have performed with us for the last five years at the Yankee Peddler Festival. They explained the basics of clogging to the audience, and danced ten routines that were worked out for the show. There was also a special performance by the Rambler kids, the young children of the band members, who sang several sweet old tunes. The entire performance was recorded, and much of it was aired on Tom Ball's Just Plain Folk and Anything Goes programs on 913TheSummit, WAPS. We used this recording for our Medina Rose CD.
