The annual Shakin' Down the Acorns Old Time Music Festival is held in late August out of doors in a beautiful outdoor setting in north-central Ohio. It features Old Time, Celtic, Bluegrass, and Folk musicians with international recognition as well as the best musicians from the area. The Brick Road Ramblers have performed there along with National flatpick champion Robin Kessinger, and River Crossing, an Old Time and Celtic band.

In addition, there are cloggers dancing, open mic performances, band contests, workshops, demonstrations, food, and much more. The Shakin' Down the Acorns Old Time Music Festival has been held at the Whispering Hills RV Park, just 3 miles South of Shreve, Ohio.
